RE: CORONAVIRUS AND A.P.C.C.C.A MEASURING DAY UPDATE

Hello Members, this is an update from our communication earlier this week.

The COVID-19 situation is changing rapidly, and we are wanting to follow all recommendations put forward by the Alberta Government and Health officials to ensure everyone’s safety. In order to do so we have had to make changes to our 2020 measuring dates.

We have made arrangements with the Viking Auction Market to use their building. The date of April 4th will not change. As of right now, this is the only measuring All-Pro has scheduled.

We will be keeping the number of people in the building to below 50 at any given time throughout the day. We will have volunteers on site to help communicate when it is your turn to bring your horses in. Please show the utmost courtesy to these volunteers. Please leave your horses loaded and remain in your vehicle until notified.

We are also asking that no one hangs around socializing in the building once your horses have been measured, chipped and branded.

In order to properly plan for this year’s measuring, we are asking that members who plan to measure horses please reply to this email or call myself @ (403) 304-3956 with how many horses you are bringing to measure and how many you are bringing to grandfather.

We will be measuring in 6 different groups throughout the day. Please indicate which time slot listed below that you would prefer. You will be contacted with your measuring time once confirmed. The time slots available are as follows:

1. 9:00 am
2. 10:30am
3. 12:00 pm
4. 1:30 pm
5. 3:00pm
6. 4:30 pm

The horse info sheet is attached with this letter and we ask that you have them pre filled out prior to measuring day. The horse info sheet will need to be filled out for all horses being measured, and grandfathered that do not already have an all pro chip.

The executive appreciates the cooperation from the members through this complicated situation. More information will be released as it is made available.

Thanks,

Will Evans
President
