Fort Assiniboine, Alberta Randell was the rookie cart driver of the year in 1977, his first season of racing, he was the high points champion in the Fort Saskatchewan club in 1989, and high points champion again in 1990 through 1993 with the Fort Saskatchewan club. He switched to wagons in 1985 with the Alberta club, but quit racing wagons again in 1986 and continued to race carts until he started the wagons again in 2004 with the newly formed APCC&CA. Randell won the buckle for best dressed wagon at the 2004 Red Deer Westerner. |
