Pete started racing carts in 1988, and moved up to wagons in 1990. He was the rookie wagon driver of the year in 1990. Pete served as the president of the N.A.P.R.A for 2 years in 1993 and 1994, and was also the president of the N.P.C.& C.A. in 2001.

Pete took a break from driving in 2003 and 2004, but didn’t stray very far from the track, as he took a stint at judging, and is now back in the wagon box.
