Linda is truly from a chuckwagon family, her father Willie Shippelt was a well known driver, and along with her uncles Mike Shippelt and Tom Gilks and 14 cousins Linda spent many of her childhood summers enjoying the racing circuit. She started racing carts in 1974, and moved up to the wagons in 1990. At most every show in the summer you will find Linda along with her husband Marvin Hubl and their children setting up camp and getting ready to run. Through Linda the Shippelt name remains in racing circles, and she is making every effort to become a more effective competitor and move up in the standings.
