John has been racing chariots and wagons for the past 25 years, and over that quarter century of racing he has had a few racing mishaps, and that is the reason he got hung with the nickname of “road hazard”. In all those years of racing there has been numerous wins including several repeat wins at the B.C. Championships.

John’s son Nick and both his grand daughters have also been bitten by the driving bug and have all driven carts or wagons.
