Jack “Jackie” started racing in the Clover Park Chuckwagon Club out of Fort Saskatchewan in 1970, and later moved to the Olds area and joined the Eckville racing club. He moved again to his present location in Lacombe and is one of the founders of the APCC&CA. Jack is proud of the Stott racing family which consist of himself, two daughters, one son, and one son in-law, who all race wagons throughout the year. Jack has had many wins over his long career, and is always in the top ten, and quite often in the last heat, which means he is in the dash for cash. Along with his kids Jack enjoys raising, breaking and training horses.
