Dale is a long time resident of the Stettler area, and has been involved in the rodeo sport as a competitor for many years. In 1983 Dale decided to try his hand at racing and started driving a cart, in 1986 he turned the cart over to his daughter Janine, then he started driving wagons. Dale is a consistent runner, and can usually be found in the middle of the pack, on several occasions has made the top ten. He was the overall winner at Hand Hills in 2004. Dale’s wagon is easy to recognize, he has the letters I.B.O.K on the tailgate, and when people ask what it means he says it could mean any of the following “I’ll be OK, “I’m behind old Kobi” or just Kobi spelled backwards.
