Allan started driving wagons in B.C. in the early 80's, he then quit when he moved to Alberta in 1996. After living in Grande Prairie until 2004, he then relocated to Fort Assiniboine where he met the Beckers'. When the racing bug hit hard again in, it wasn't long before he was back in the wagon in 2006. Allan states that somethings have changed a bit since his retirement, but the things that have stayed are all the friendly, helpful people that you meet at the track. Allan's son, Jeremy also races and they spend many hours around the table discussing race meets and strategy.
